How to handle a failed door lock block?
03-06,2024
A failed door lock block may prevent the doors from being locked or unlocked properly, and consequently affect the safety and normal use of the car. Such failure can be handled as follows:
1. Examine the battery: First, check if the battery power of the car has been depleted. If the battery power is at a low level, it may lead to failed locking or unlocking of doors. Replace the battery before trying again.
2. Examine the door switches: Check if the door switches can work properly. Sometimes a door switch malfunction may result in failed locking or unlocking of doors.
3. Examine the door lock block: Check if the door lock block has been damaged or blocked. If an internal part of the lock block is damaged or blocked by foreign objects, it may malfunction, requiring repair or replacement.
4. Cleaning and lubrication: Regular cleaning and lubrication of the door lock block are crucial for maintaining its normal operation. Dedicated lubricant or grease can be used to maintain the door lock block and ensure its smooth operation.

Advantages of vika door lock block:
Material 1: DC03 steel material from Baosteel is adopted for vika door lock block. Thanks to a quenching process, it provides excellent tensile properties, and greatly improves the performance of the block. The surface is treated with zinc nickel alloy, which leads to excellent resistance to corrosion and aging.
Material 2: The rubber pad is soft, and the mold forming process leads to neat and elegant appearance.
Material 3: The plastic used for vika door lock block is made of polyformaldehyde 100T from DuPont, a globally renowned brand. It ensures stable internal structure and top gear quality, and avoids deformation even after long use.
Selection of core parts for vika door lock block:
Micro motor: Based on OE quality requirements, the micro motor, as a core component of the vika door lock block, is supplied by "Mabuchi" and "Johson Electric", both well-known brands worldwide. It fully guarantees high performance of the door lock block.
Touch switch: The touch switch, another core component of vika door lock block, is provided by Taiwan-based ZIPPY brand. It ensures adequate control of the door lock block during the operation of central control lock.
Spring: The spring structure is manufactured in line with OE product parameters and processes, resulting in smoother lock block switching.
Grease: Sufficient German FUCHS lubricant is used for vika door lock block, with a working temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃.
The rotary snap of vika door lock block is made of DuPont 5526 material, which features excellent tensile strength and toughness, higher wear resistance, lower noise, and good shock absorption effect.
Production process comparison:
The circuits and injection molded parts of vika door lock block are formed in a single process before glue sealing. This prevents oxidization of the circuit boards and enables stable current and signal transmission for long.
The lower shell of the vika door lock block is equipped with a custom silicone sealing ring, which effectively prevents jamming of internal parts due to ingress of dust and debris.
