What are the symptoms of a failed electronic pump?

12-19,2023

1. Unstable idle speed: The failure of an auxiliary electronic pump may lead to an increase in the rotary resistance of the pump, and directly interfere with the engine's rotation. The idle speed displayed can be unstable after start of the engine, which is more obvious in winter and may even cause flameout.

2. Noise from the engine: This is a type of rotational friction sound, and the electronic pump may malfunction. This sound can grow louder with increasing RPM or volume of the engine.

3. As the malfunction becomes worse, the noise will become increasingly noticeable.

4. A damaged electronic pump can weaken or disable circulation of the cooling system, resulting in boiling of coolant.

STO auxiliary electronic pump

Technical improvements adopted by STO auxiliary electronic pump:

1. STO auxiliary electronic pump uses integrated circuit boards with a unique design. These circuit boards are manufactured with imported SMT machines from Japan, solving the problem of high-temperature burning;

2. The inner diameter of the water inlet of STO auxiliary electronic pump has been increased by 3 mm, leading to a 23% increase in water inflow;

3. The full R-angle transition design of the pump head for STO auxiliary electronic pump ensures smooth water flow, high pressure resistance, and effective heat dissipation;

4. The pump head and body of STO auxiliary electronic pump are assembled using Siemens fully automatic electric torque wrenches and receive 100% airtightness testing to ensure proper sealing without water leakage.
