What are possible reasons for oil leakage of an oil sump?
12-11,2023
Leakage of an oil sump can increase oil consumption, make the car chassis dirty, and even prevent normal use of the engine.
Oil sump leakage may result from poor sealing or aging of a sealing gasket or sealing strip. A sealing strip can age after being exposed to high temperature for long, leading to cracking and oil leakage.
Oil sump leakage may also result from loosen screws of the oil tank. If the screws are not tightened after lubrication, they will loosen over time due to thin oil sump wall and shallow threads. Under heavy load, the screws or the oil sump may slide.
Another possible reason for leakage of oil sump is damage of the oil sump due to impact. Because the oil tank casing is very low, without a protective shell, oil may leak due to friction of the car chassis.

Advantages of vika oil sump:
1. High-class material: imported ADC12 aluminum ingots;
2. High-precision processing: Through mechanical processing in a high-end numerical control machining center, all mounting dimensions of vika oil sump are more accurate;
3 Dense structure: The blank die-casting process with a high-end cold chamber die casting machine from LK Group (Hong Kong-based) leads to a denser aluminum structure.
