What to do if the displayed radiator temperature is too high?

Solutions to excessive radiator temperature:
1. In the case of engine overheat due to insufficient cooling water, do not add cold water immediately. Instead, drive the car to a well-ventilated and cool place. Then open the engine hood and wait for the cooling water temperature to drop to ambient level before adding water.
2. Engine overheat may result from water leakage. There are many small pipes installed on the antifreeze pot, and a loose or damaged rubber pipe may result in water leakage. If necessary, the damaged pipe can be wrapped with adhesive tape or plastic bag and water can be replenished before further drive.
3. The failure of a thermostat may also cause engine overheat. The thermostat is usually installed on top of the engine. If the specified cooling water temperature is not reached, water will not be delivered to the radiator. Due to presence of the thermostat, water delivery to the radiator may be prevented or limited even if the specified temperature is reached, thus resulting in engine overheating. In this case, repair at the nearest maintenance shop is recommended.
4. If there is no coolant for use on the road, water can be used instead, but the coolant must be replaced immediately after the destination is reached and the problem is solved. Prolonged use of water in place of coolant can lead to degraded cooling function of the cooling system, more fuel consumption, and reduced vehicle power.

Advantages of vika radiator:
1. Stable performance: The vika radiator is made of high-grade and high-density aluminum material with stable performance.
2. Rapid heat dissipation: The aluminum tubes used for vika radiator feature a large diameter, a high flow rate, rapid cooling, and excellent heat dissipation.
3. Core radiation fins: The thickened and densified design solves stuffiness problem, accelerates heat dissipation, and prevents water leakage thanks to durable structure.
Material comparisons:
Aluminum tubes:
vika radiator: high-grade aluminum material with large diameter, high flow rate and excellent heat dissipation;
Other brands: inferior material prone to corrosion and blasting and with small diameter, low water flow, and poor heat dissipation.
Radiator:
vika radiator: The combination of PA66 and 30% fiberglass leads to high thermal deformation temperature and long service life;
Other bands: Inferior recycled materials with poor strength and prone to blasting are used.
