What to do if a door lock block pull wire fails?

08-16,2023

When a door lock block pull wire fails, it may prevent normal door locking or unlocking. Here are some solutions:

1. Check pull wire connection: First, check if the pull wire is loose or broken. If any loose or broken pull wire is found, reconnect or replace it.

2. Reposition the pull wire: In some cases, the pull wire may deviate from its original position and disable normal operation of the door lock block. Try to reposition the pull wire to achieve correct connection with the door lock block.

3. Check mechanical components of the door lock block: In addition to the pull wire, check whether the mechanical components of the door lock block function normally. Mechanical components may be jammed, worn, or damaged and require repair or replacement.

4. Perform lubrication: In some case, a pull wire failure may occur due to lack of lubrication of the mechanical components of the door lock block. Try to apply an appropriate amount of lubricant to the mechanical components to restore normal operation.

5. Seek professional repair: If neither of the above solutions works, or if you are not familiar with vehicle repair, professional automotive repair services are recommended.

Advantages of vika door lock block:

Steel: DC03 material from Baosteel is adopted. Thanks to a quenching process, it provides excellent tensile properties, and greatly improves the performance of the vika door lock block. The surface is treated with zinc nickel alloy, which leads to excellent resistance to corrosion and aging.

The rubber pad is soft, and the mold forming process leads to neat and elegant appearance.

The plastic used for vika door lock block is made of polyformaldehyde 100T from DuPont, a globally renowned brand. It ensures stable gear quality and avoids deformation even after long use.

The micro motor, as a core component of the vika door lock block, is supplied by "Mabuqi" and "Dechang", both well-known brands worldwide. It fully guarantees high performance of the door lock block.

The touch switch, another core component, is provided by Taiwan-based ZIPPY brand. It ensures adequate control of the door lock block during the operation of central control lock.

The spring structure is manufactured in line with OE product parameters and processes, resulting in smoother lock block switching.

German FUCHS lubricant is employed, with a working temperature range of -40℃ to 130℃, leading to stable performance and better protection of internal components.

The rotary snap of vika door lock block is made of DuPont 5526 material, which features excellent tensile strength and toughness, higher wear resistance, lower noise, and good shock absorption effect.

The circuits and injection molded parts are formed in a single process before glue sealing.  This prevents oxidization of the circuit boards and enables stable current and signal transmission for long.

The lower shell of the vika door lock block is equipped with a custom silicone sealing ring, which effectively prevents jamming of internal parts due to ingress of dust and debris.
