What is NOx sensor?
10-13,2025
NOx sensor is one of the key components of a diesel exhaust after-treatment system. It realizes closed-loop management by measuring the NOx content in the exhaust gas before and after urea injection, and provides a basis for controlling the urea injection amount in the exhaust after-treatment system. It ensures accurate urea injection amount during reduction reaction.
Failures of an NOx sensor:
Core failure: The engine failure indicator lights up.
Specific failure symptoms:
1. Reporting a communication failure.
2. Reporting an abnormal value.
3. If a sensor failure persists for a long time, the speed and torque will be limited.
Failure causes:
1. The sensor CAN chip sensor is damaged or the power chip is damaged.
2. Sensor damage or aging leads to reduced accuracy.
3. The sensor experiences a short circuit or ceramic chip cracking due to water ingress.
4. Harsh operating environment (such as overheating, oil pollution interference, and excessive ammonia).

Advantages of vika NOx sensor:
Ceramic chips are independently produced through core processes such as material formulation, blank preparation, and co-firing, leading to significantly improved output accuracy.
Supporting driver circuits and software are developed based on the characteristics of the chips to realize overall performance optimization.
As the heating control program incorporates multiple protective measures, vika NOx sensors have a longer service life.
